ASSISTED STRETCH

stretching promotes better health

Everyone knows that you should stretch daily but few actually do it.  If you are one of the few that do stretch on a regular basis, how you stretch matters.  ProCare Oviedo Chiropractors, we perform a variety of different stretch techniques, but one is particularly useful.  It’s an advanced form of stretching call Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF).  This form of stretching utilizes a combination of static and dynamic stretching to create significant gains in flexibility. Studies have shown PNF stretching to be better than traditional passive stretching.

Stretching on a regular basis has its benefits including:

  • increased flexibility
  • improved circulation
  • improved posture
  • reduced pain and stiffness
  • may reduce your risk of injury

Our Oviedo stretch therapists are well versed in all types of stretch techniques including PNF and will work with you to help achieve better range of motion as well as improved functional performance. Call today to see how we can help you!
